About Matt Walker

A transplant from England, Matt Walker is Professor of Neuroscience and Psychology at UC Berkeley, and Director of the Center for Human Sleep Science at UC Berkley. He is author of the internationally bestselling book Why We Sleep, and received the Carl Sagan Prize for Science Popularization in 2020 for his work bringing the importance of sleep to the public's attention. We value his transparency in clearly profiling the state of the science, his pioneering sleep research leadership, and his ability to clearly translate the research into actionable recommendations for real life.  He's also prepared to admit when new research requires he re-visit previous conclusions as heard here on Blue Screen Myths from March 2024.

About Andrew Huberman and the Huberman Lab Podcast

Host of Huberman Lab, Andrew Huberman is a Professor of Neurobiology and Ophthalmology at Stanford University and a professor (by courtesy) in the Stanford Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences department. Huberman attracts tops minds as guest experts and has a knack for making complex science understandable! He also has many useful actionable resources and tool kits to help people apply what's discussed on his podcast. We appreciate his frank, informed, and critical assessments of the science discussed.

Enjoy!
