We picked these leaders in their field for

a) Leadership in the science

b) Real world patients and clients that both inform and demonstrate the power of their protocols

c)  The respect of reputable colleagues - even when there may be differences of opinion on some aspects of their approach.

FOR WOMEN OVER 40! Stacy Sims, PhD, exercise physiologist and nutrition scientist for women. Her work inside and outside of academia is tailored for real women and elite athletes. Her books are a treasure of practical information and training specifics backed by hard science and real world results. Get the highlights through podcast.  Her books a must read for any woman who really wants to understand what's happening inside her body and how to deal with those menopause realitiesYou will learn your options and why they work so you can make well informed choices. If you have financial, time, or physical constraints for some of what she recommends - no worries.  She also has options to meet us all where we're at. A good start is her 60 minute Zoe interview in Knowledge Builder Links below.

The Drs. Dean and Ayesha Sherzai. Neurologists, professors, researchers teaching us the power of lifestyle habits - including exercise - for improving and protecting our brain. Their books, Neuro Academy, and podcast with free online resources, demonstrate a commitment to balance, what's doable, and evidence based protocols.

Dr. Dale Bredesen, MD, expert in neurodegenerative disease, is known for his leadership roles and ground-breaking research in Alzheimer's Disease. Exercise features as a core feature of his ReCODE protocol described in his books and offered through Apollo health. Much we can do on our own. Some aspects require professional medical assessment and intervention. It take time and massive funding to run the longitudinal studies we'd all like to see but his many smaller, high quality studies show remarkable results.

Andy Galpin, transforms the complex into the doable. A PhD in Human Bioenergetics (how organisms obtain, transform and use energy), he is highly published professor. While much of his work is with elite athletes he now gives time to educating the public on how to exercise for brain health and cognition. He's a strong proponent of exercise (or any movement) that meets us where we're at.

You will also notice multiple links to Zoe Science & Nutrition from the UK.  Zoe co-founder and host Jonathan Wolf has un uncanny ability to get to the heart of what real people need to know - and it comes with that classic British sense of humor! I value the team at Zoe for being grounded in the science while recognizing daily life realities.
